Protestant Prayer and the Catholic Mass as “Different Pathways to God”: “Catholic” U.S. Vice President JD Vance appeared to relativize the Catholic Church and the Eucharist during a June 16 interview on Fox & Friends. Speaking about what he called the strength of “the American church,” Vance emphasized the diversity of [contradicting] Christian denominations: “You can't be an American Catholic or an American Pentecostal or an American Southern Baptist without running into someone who has a slightly different perspective on faith.” He added: “It's all about Jesus.” Vance then described what he sees as different ways by which people find God: “Different ways, sometimes with 'snake handlers' [evangelicals in Kentucky], sometimes with speaking in tongues, sometimes with a beautiful Catholic mass, but I think all these pathways really matter and they're part of the reason why we do find our path to God.”

JD Vance: "One of the things I love about the American church is there are all of these different pathways to God ... sometimes with snake handlers, sometimes with speaking in tongues, sometimes with a beautiful Catholic mass. But I think all of these pathways really matter."

Historic Cathedral, Now a Parish Church, Abused for Political Dinner: On June 12 and 13, a 'Heavenly Dinner' was held in St. Andrä’s former cathedral, the historic episcopal church of the now-defunct Diocese of Lavant in Austria. Today, the Cathedral serves as a parish church. Several local restaurateurs jointly prepared the dinner, while local politicians and other guests dined inside the church. Before the meal, a table prayer was recited. As host, Dean Fr. Gerfried Sitar welcomed the guests. During the evening, the clergyman was also awarded the Gold Plaque of the City of St. Andrä.

Leo XIV Calls for "New International Financial Framework"

Pope Leo XIV published today a video message for the climate World Summit in Vienna, Austria. He called for a "just transition" to new economic models, urged wealthy nations to provide greater financial support, and advocated the development of a new international financial framework. All this is presented within the façade and language of Catholic social teaching and care for creation and the poor. Three key quotes, emphasis added.
- "These challenges [peace, natural resources, climate change] require international cooperation, together with cohesive and forward-looking multilateralism in order to find effective solutions."
- "It is not merely desirable but also genuinely possible that the progress at COP30 [United Nations’ climate summit] can be followed up with a just transition toward societies where the common good takes precedence over profit, and economic models are rooted in solidarity and human dignity. Yet, this requires wealthier countries to meet their obligations to …Ossotina

The Ukrainian people were showing and telling Russia where the conscription offices were located. So Russia can destroy them. I posted about that awhile ago. And RT has mentioned it again in a post I just put up. Some people have died and have been seriously injured by those thugs. It won't come to an end till the last Ukrainian is dead. As long as they kill a lot of Russians. Their only goal!
The reported Russian attacks on Ukrainian conscription centers came hours after a large protest in Kiev, said to have been sparked by forced mobilization. The rare mass demonstration was broken up by riot police, who used tear gas to disperse the crowd, according to local media.

@mccallansteve I'm not sure who that comment is meant for. Everyone knows I am concerned only about the hate and lies some (mainly one) enjoys posting to spread the hate and lies to others. I don't worry about the jews and what they do. They are in GOD'S Hands and in His plans. I can post a lot of things I see about what they are doing in America. But there is more hate than I care for on gtv. Same with scandals. I never saw so many people seeking out and reading such trash in my life. I avoid it like the plague. When I read the comments, I see all it's about is gossiping. The hatred I feel through the comments which I also like to avoid like the plague. But sometimes I catch a few comments and then regret it. Our only duty is to pray for everyone's conversion. So I pray for conversions. GOD knows all and he sees all. Yet people on gtv don't worry about GOD and what he sees and hears from them. I think, talk about and pray for is, One Fold and One Shepherd. And that will be done with …Ossotina

On Saturday, more than 1,000 Catholics took part in a Eucharistic Rosary procession through Derry in Northern Ireland. The procession was part of the first Worldwide Marian Procession, held in conjunction with around 400 parishes and 50 Marian shrines worldwide. The public prayer, which brought the streets to a standstill, was supported by Bishop Donal McKeown of Derry.

Public witness of faith draws crowds to Derry Marian procession

Catholics from all over Ireland gathered to pray in Derry on Saturday as part of the first Worldwide Marian Procession, held in conjunction with hundreds of parishes across the globe. With the support of Derry’s local ordinary, Bishop Donal McKeown, a full day of Marian and Eucharistic devotion was held in the Northern Irish city at the weekend.
Wending its way from the Catholic housing estate of “the Creggan” down through the city in the shadow of its many church spires, the procession saw Catholics take to the streets once more – but with peaceful prayer and joyful hymns.

There is no such thing as a Eucharistic Rosary procession. They had a Marian procession with recitation of the Rosary and held adoration.

Catholic processions are a wonderful way of showing our devotion and hopefully instructing others to join the one true Church.

Leo XIV Praises "Global Jewish Philanthropy"

Today, Pope Leo XIV received a delegation from the United Jewish Appeal-Federation of New York (UJA-Federation) in the Apostolic Palace.
Founded in 1917, the UJA-Federation is among the world's largest Jewish philanthropic organizations, supporting “the poor”, refugees, and other vulnerable populations in New York, Israel, and more than seventy countries worldwide.
Welcoming the delegation, Leo XIV praised the organization as an instrument of global Jewish philanthropy. It demonstrates a profound commitment to human fraternity that resonates with the Church's own vision of integral human development.
Leo XIV Rejects Discrimination Based on Religion
Leo XIV recalled that sixty-six years ago, in 1960, Pope John XXIII welcomed a delegation from the same organization with the memorable words, "I am Joseph, your brother" (Genesis 45:4).
Then, Leo XIV observed that this encounter helped inspire a new era in Catholic-Jewish relations and contributed to the development of the Second Vatican …Ossotina

Archbishop Viganò Reveals Cardinal Burke Advised Him to Live in Hiding

Today, Archbishop Carlo Viganò published the personal letter that he had sent to Pope Leo XIV in January. It appears that - despite Viganò having denied that Francis was a legitimate pope - he recognizes Leo XIV. Monsignor Viganò addresses Leo XIV as "Holiness," asks him to exercise his authority, and seeks an audience with him.
Archbishop Viganò recounts his long career in Vatican service, argues that he was punished for exposing corruption and doctrinal problems in the Church, explains how retirement led him to reject Vatican II and the post-conciliar direction of the Church, defends himself against the charge of schism, and urges Leo XIV to break with the errors of the Francis era and the synodal project.
The letter contains a noticeably heavy use of first-person pronouns and is full of self-reference, emphasis on personal integrity, descriptions of persecution and mistreatment, frequent presentation of himself as a key witness to major events, and relatively little self-criticism …Ossotina

"Devil" Beer Tap in Belgian Confessional: A deconsecrated church built in 1878 in Antwerp, Belgium, has served as a foyer for Theater Elckerlyc since 2025. One confessional now contains a token machine, while another has been fitted with a self-service Duvel 6.66% beer tap. "Duvel" is Dutch for "devil" and is also the name of a Belgian beer brand. An earlier report claimed the diocese had approved the concept, but the article was corrected on 10 June: the diocese says it was not involved in the redevelopment.

Devil installed in confessional with Church's blessing

Duvel - Flemish dialect word for Devil - beer vending machine in confessional in Antwerp: “The diocese even thought it was a good idea”
Antwerp “Is this really how we treat our ecclesiastical heritage?” Outrage has arisen on social media regarding two confessionals in the former Church of Our Lady of Grace on Frankrijklei, which has served as the foyer of Theater Elckerlyc since last year. You can no longer go there to confess your sins, but you can to buy tokens or tap a Duvel 6.66%.
Although both confessionals have been part of the foyer for more than a year, a new debate arose this week after a theatergoer shared a photo of the token vending machine in a confessional on Facebook. The person in question criticized the way religious heritage is being handled. The numerous responses show that the repurposing of ecclesiastical elements remains a sensitive subject for some people, even though the Church of Our Lady of Grace has been deconsecrated for quite some time and the building now …

🙏June 15th - Saint of the Day: Saint Amos, Prophet🙏
Faith without justice is just noise. Saint Amos was not a priest, a scholar, or a polished religious influencer. He was a shepherd from Tekoa, tending flocks and sycamore trees, until God called him to walk into a wealthy, comfortable kingdom and tell the truth nobody wanted to hear. 🐑📜 Israel looked blessed from the outside. Money was flowing. Worship was happening. People were showing up for the religious festivals. But behind the scenes, the poor were being crushed, the courts were corrupt, and the powerful were using religion as a cover for injustice. Then Amos spoke the line that still shakes the soul: “Let justice surge like waters, and righteousness like an unfailing stream.” 🌊 That is not a slogan. It is a warning. Saint Amos reminds us that God is not impressed by public faith that does not become private conversion. Mass should change how we treat people. Prayer should make us more honest. Worship should make us …Ossotina

Why Does Leo XIV Appoint This Kind of Leadership to the Church? During Sunday Mass at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Archbishop Ronald Hicks of New York celebrated the New York Knicks’ NBA championship victory with an embarrassing display of fandom, which included nervous giggling and requests for applause. Holding up a No. 11 Knicks jersey, he told worshippers that he had 'caught Knicks fever' and had watched the entire championship-winning match. He then showcased a FIFA shirt and a Puerto Rican hat to highlight New York’s major events that day. The performance quickly attracted attention online. Catholics on social media ridiculed the Archbishop, questioning Pope Leo XIV’s decision to appoint him as Archbishop of New York.

All these infiltrated homosexual activists are members of the anti-Church who attack the Church from within—and, with Prevost’s complicity, they defy God. Just as Lucifer dragged a third of the angels along with him in his rebellion against God, Bergoglio and Prevost are dragging their own followers along with them. But God is not mocked with impunity; woe to them, for they are consummating their rebellion against God without the slightest repentance.
