Only two priests left the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX) after the 1 July episcopal consecrations in Ecône. Father Franz Schmidberger, 79, a former Superior General, mentioned the number in his weekly newsletter on September 14. The Fraternity has more than 730 priests. #newsXcapyzjeeg
A fascinating and disturbing article: “Making All Religions One.” The article traces the rise of modern ecumenism and argues that the movement was not simply a spontaneous theological development, but was also influenced by powerful American foundations, political interests, and even the psychological-warfare apparatus of the U.S. national-security establishment. One of the most intriguing figures is Henry Kissinger, who in the 1950s was involved in the Rockefeller Brothers Fund’s Special Studies Project, where Jesuit theologian John Courtney Murray was brought into discussions concerning America’s future. Murray had previously been censured by Rome (good Catholic popes), yet later became an important theological influence at the Second Vatican Council. The article then follows Murray’s remarkable transition from being silenced by Rome to becoming one of the influential voices in the development of Dignitatis Humanae. It also points to the young Karol Wojtyła, as another important …अधिक
"You surely remember what Jesus Christ said to you in the Gospel: you cannot serve God and Mammon; that is to say, you cannot follow the world and the pleasures of the world and Jesus Christ with His Cross. Of course you would be quite willing to follow God just so far and the world just so far! Let me put it even more clearly: you would like it if your conscience, if your heart, would allow you to go to the altar in the morning and the dance in the evening; to spend part of the day in church and the remainder in the cabarets or other places of amusement; to talk of God at one moment and the next to tell obscene stories or utter calumnies about your neighbour;..."
Jean-Marie Vianney ~ ‘SERMONS OF THE CURE OF ARS – EXCERPTS’ ~ ‘FOLLOW ONE MASTER ONLY, etc., …’ ~ pages 14-15 [Saint John Vianney, XVIII-XIX Century, (aged 73), born: Dardilly, Lyonnais, Kingdom of France/died: Ars-sur-Formans, Ain, French Empire, Cure d’Ars, French Priest, patron saint of parish priests] FOLLOW ONE MASTER ONLY What a sad life does he lead who wants both to please the world and to serve God! It is a great mistake to make, my friends. Apart from the fact that you are going to be unhappy all the time, you can never attain the stage at which you will be able to please the world and please God. It is as impossible a feat as trying to put an end to eternity. Take the advice that I am going to give you now and you will be less unhappy: give yourselves wholly to God or else wholly to the world. Do not look for and do not serve more than one master, and once you have chosen the one you are going to follow, do not leave him. You surely remember what Jesus Christ said to you in …अधिक
A two-metre-high, blood-red sculpture of Jesus Christ holding two Uzi submachine guns is on display at L’Aérosol in Marseille. The blasphemy was made by French provocateur James Colomina. It was initially placed outside the venue before being moved indoors. Colomina claims the armed Christ is an anti-violence statement. #newsObnvrghjid

“…the devil, as much as I may find him quite likeable—and he’s certainly not as bad as people make him out to be… perhaps he adds a little spice to people’s lives…” - Fr. Agnello Stoia, Conventual Franciscan and parish priest of St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican, speaking in this undated video.
European bishops sidestep ‘Traditionis Custodes’, continuing traditional Latin Masses in parish churches without Vatican dispensation. Last week, the Dicastery for Divine Worship published all its decrees from 2025, including permissions for the 1962 Roman Missal in parish churches. The list shows permissions for 55 parishes in 33 dioceses. 41 of the parish-church locations in the 2025 decrees are in the United States - about 75%. France is conspicuously absent from the 2025 index despite its importance among Catholics. No parish church in Paris appears among the Dicastery’s published dispensations in 2023, 2024 or 2025. Obviously, there are Masses. In the Paris parish of Saint-Eugène–Sainte-Cécile, the old Mass has been celebrated since the 1980s and remains part of the daily and Sunday schedule. Sainte-Odile also lists a Sunday Mass in the 1962 rite. Another example is London, England. No dispensation for a London parish church appears in the Dicastery’s published indexes for 2023,…अधिक

Peru tributes Leo XIV with the largest statue in the world. Standing 14 meters tall, the monument will rise in a seafront park in Callao overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The statue depicts Leo XIV with his arms open and is being built around a steel structure with a marble-like exterior finish. The privately funded monument is expected to be installed ahead of the pope’s November visit to Peru. #newsMmvrjnktky
Marko Rupnik’s new monumental mosaic façade was inaugurated (!) at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Aparecida in Brazil. Yesterday evening, the shrine unveiled the basilica’s 4,000-square-metre west façade. The project began in 2019 and continued after allegations of sexual and psychological abuse against Rupnik became public. The north façade was inaugurated in 2022, the south in 2024 and the east in 2025. Meanwhile, the sanctuary of Lourdes in France has covered Rupnik’s mosaics, citing consideration for victims of abuse.
Last night in Aparecida, Brazil, the final monumental mosaic façade created by the Centro Aletti — founded by Marko Rupnik — was officially inaugurated. While Rupnik’s mosaics are being covered in Lourdes, his artistic legacy is being unveiled on a monumental scale in Brazil.
Holy Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint John 3,13-17. Jesus said to Nicodemus : "No one has gone up to heaven except the one who has come down from heaven, the Son of Man. And just as Moses lifted up the serpent in the desert, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, so that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life." For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him might not perish but might have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through him.

Bishop Strickland about Vatican 2 and Bishop Lefebvre “GO AND REPAIR MY HOUSE, WHICH, AS YOU SEE, IS FALLING INTO RUIN” Dear Sons and Daughters in Christ, I know that some of you believe I have changed. Some fear that I have crossed over to “the other side.” Some wonder whether, after years of speaking plainly and courageously about the crisis in the Church, defending the traditional Roman liturgy, questioning what was done in the name of the Second Vatican Council, and speaking openly about Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre, I am now retreating from those convictions. Some of you may even feel betrayed. So before I say anything else, I want to say this plainly: I have not moved. The words Christ spoke to St. Francis at San Damiano – “Go and repair my house, which, as you see, is falling into ruin” – have weighed heavily upon my heart. I have not forgotten what happened to the Church. I have not forgotten what happened to the sacred liturgy, to Catholic catechesis, to religious life, to priestly …अधिक
Bishop Strickland "There is a phrase Catholics have heard for more than sixty years. “Vatican II changed that.” Why don’t we hear Latin anymore? Vatican II. Why did the Mass change? Vatican II. Why did Gregorian chant disappear from so many Catholic churches? Vatican II. Why did practices surrounding Holy Communion change? Vatican II. Why did sanctuaries change? Vatican II. Why did so many customs Catholics had known for generations suddenly disappear? Again and again, the answer was simply, “Vatican II.” Those two words became an explanation for almost everything that happened in Catholic life in the years following the Council. But lately I have been wondering whether that explanation is the right one. Not because Vatican II called for no change. It certainly did. But because when we actually sit down and read the documents of the Council, something interesting begins to happen. We discover that some things commonly attributed to Vatican II are not actually in Vatican II. Other things …अधिक

At one time I considered Jarad to be the Anti-Christ, but he is not very charasmatic or convincing enough. The Anti-Christ will accomplish all the things that Trump promised the American people, broker peace in the middle east, bring all wars to an end, and usher in economic prosperity for the world. Jarad doesn’t process this ability.

The Spiritual Battle for True Womanhood Fr. Altier emphasizes women's inherent value and strength, particularly mothers, highlighting their unique role in creation as the closest beings to God because of their capacity for love. He expresses concern about societal attitudes towards women, particularly in light of a recent case where a woman killed her children, arguing that such actions are a rejection of their divine purpose and a consequence of extreme ideologies. He criticizes the notion that women should have absolute power over life and death, drawing parallels to the biblical story of Adam and Eve and the temptation to be like God. He further states that the decline of society and the church is linked to the erosion of women’s morality, which is seen as the foundation of both. Satan has deceived women into rejecting their true nature and embracing a masculine ideal, leading to societal imbalance and anger. Women are urged to embrace their femininity, reject Satan’s lies, and live …अधिक
Mercy is the Church’s “calling card” in the world (Pope Francis). September 14 – Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. Peter’s “barque”—the Church—which “sails” through time and space to reach the longed-for “harbor” of eternal life, is, at the start of the third millennium, being “tossed about to the left and to the right" by the “strong winds” of ideologies. In this dark moment of human history—which, as some have described it, spews forth the flames of a multifaceted “apocalypse” (virological, climatic, martial, and technological)—the Church needs authentic Christians. Christians, that is, who—by denying themselves and crucifying their “old self,” which is corrupted by deceitful passions—heed Jesus’ call to “care for” everyone, especially the poorest and creation itself, and to “heal” the wounds inflicted by evil using the greater power of His Love.
