The Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem has been closed since February 28. The Israeli regime announced that all holy sites in the Old City of Jerusalem, including the Western Wall, the Temple Mount, and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, would remain closed due to ongoing Israeli-American war against Iran. On March 16, Joseph Hazboun, the regional director of the Pontifical Mission for Palestine office in Jerusalem, told CNewa.org that the decision was framed as a precaution against potential attacks. On March 15, Fr. Ibrahim Faltas of the Custody of the Holy Land told VaticanNews.va that the church had never been closed for such an extended period despite past wars, tensions, and pandemics. Church officials expect that Holy Week and Easter liturgies will be permitted to proceed with only clergy in attendance, similar to Covid-restrictions. #newsAkrsktflrz

Australian Prime Minister Albanese went to a Sydney mosque for Eid prayers to stand against Islamophobia, only to end up being threatened, with everyone screaming “Allahu Akbar” at him. He just sits there terrified, not knowing what to do.
Today, Leo XIV has appointed Fr Alfonso María Bauer Ormazábal SDB as the new Bishop of Florida, Uruguay. Born in Montevideo in 1968 and ordained in 1996, Monsignor Bauer is a Salesian with experience in formation and youth ministry. He holds a Licentiate in Spiritual Theology from the Pontifical Salesian University in Rome. He served as provincial of the Salesians in Uruguay from 2018 to 2024. Monsignor Bauer has published many short videos on social media in which he is dressed in civilian clothing (see the screenshots below). His themes align with Pope Francis's rhetoric about hospitality, love, listening, and closeness. The picture above, taken in February 2023, shows him seated while presiding over the Eucharist. He uses profane glass jugs and baskets. This Eucharist was held during a meeting of 80 "evangelizers" from Salesian institutes in Uruguay. They discussed "the new paradigm of integral ecology presented by Pope Francis in the apostolic exhortation Laudato Si." Another example …Has köp
THE SERPENT DIDN’T JUST LIE… HE QUOTED GOD Most people think the first deception in the Bible was simple. A lie. A contradiction. A direct rebellion against God. But if you read the text carefully… you will see something far more dangerous. The serpent did not begin with a lie. He began with God’s own words. THE FIRST WORDS OF DECEPTION In Genesis 3, the serpent speaks: “Did God really say, ‘You shall not eat of any tree of the garden’?” (Gen. 3:1) Look closely. That is not a direct denial. That is a distortion. Because God never said that. God had said: "You may freely eat of every tree… but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat.” (Gen. 2:16–17) Do you see what happened? The serpent quotes God… but twists the emphasis. God’s command was generous. The serpent makes it sound restrictive. From abundance… to limitation. From gift… to prohibition. THE STRATEGY: DISTORT, DON’T DENY This is the first lesson of temptation. The enemy rarely begins with open …Has köp
Published: 00:41 GMT, 20 March 2026 | Updated: 07:23 GMT, 20 March 2026 Kemi Badenoch has accused Sir Keir Starmer of 'sucking up' to Muslims to stem the loss of votes to the Green Party as the row over a mass public prayer deepened. The Prime Minister on Wednesday called on the Conservative leader to sack a senior Tory who said that a mass Muslim prayer event in Trafalgar Square was an 'act of domination and division'. But on Thursday Ms Badenoch defended shadow justice secretary Nick Timothy and accused Sir Keir of 'sucking up' to the Muslim community after Labour's by-election defeat in Gorton and Denton. The Tory leader also accused the PM of 'hypocrisy' after it emerged he had previously pulled out of an event held by the group that organised the mass prayer over its 'highly controversial' views. Meanwhile the furious war of words continued as Labour accused the Tories of 'adopting Tommy Robinson endorsed views' and Ms Badenoch of 'cowardice'. Mr Timothy sparked a row after …

Fr. Robert Prevost (Leo XIV) has participated in a Pachamama “Mother Earth” ritual while attending an Augustinian theological symposium in 1995, reports LifeSiteNews.com (March 18). The scandal was uncovered by Fr. Charles Murr. Three Augustinian priests have confirmed to him that Robert Prevost is clearly visible among the kneeling participants in the photo. None of the three were present at the 1995 ritual itself. They recognized their confrere from the published image. The photo appeared in the proceedings of the “Lectura de San Agustín desde América Latina” (São Paulo, January 23-28, 1995), published as the book Ecoteología: Una Perspectiva desde San Agustín (México, 1996). The official caption beneath the photo of kneeling participants reads: “Celebration of the Rite of Pachamama (Mother Earth), which is an agricultural rite offered by the cultures of the South-Andean region in Peru and Bolivia.” More Photos From Same Symposium The same volume includes a large group photograph …Has köp

Jeremiah 11:18-20 Jeremiah speaks with the Lord: “At that time you showed me their doings.” People who prey on others often do so openly. Jeremiah realizes he is caught in their trap. John 7:40-43 “The Messiah will not come from Galilee, will he? Does not scripture say that the Messiah will be of David’s family and come from Bethlehem, the village where David lived?” This demonstrates how a small detail can lead uninformed people to turn away from Jesus. By focusing too much on details, people drift away from God’s love. Biblical texts: NAB-RE Normand Thomas.
