On 27 April, Mrs Sarah Mullally commissioned the Director of the Anglican Centre in Rome, Anthony Ball, as her representative to the Holy See. Despite the Anglicans having their own church in Rome, the ceremony took place at the Church of Saint Ignatius of Loyola. Cardinal Luis Antonio Tagle delivered a homily about an alleged "common faith and unity in Jesus Christ".
The optics of this really aren't good. Why did this need to happen in a Catholic church in Rome when there's a perfectly decent Anglican one within the walls?

In an interview at the Venerable English College in Rome after the meeting, she said that they had "met as pastors". And: "We both recognise that, regardless of me being a woman, this is a significant moment in that both our churches have been on a journey together to deepen our friendship, to pray together and to seek that unity to which we are called."

The intentional idea here is to bring this to light, make it common place, and less of a shock to the laity, in hopes that very soon the Catholic Church will embrace female Clergy as a solution to several problems. The sacrilege occurred during an animal blessing that had been combined with a Eucharist. I knew a protestant woman who went to Mass, took a host, and after eating part of it, gave the rest to her grandchild. It grieves me to know to what extent the Holy Catholic Church is being betrayed by her priests and prelates.
I have witnessed people taking the HOST and breaking IT into smaller pieces. What happened after that I do not know. Several times I had to interrupt distributing Holy Communion, and tell the person to consume the Host immediately, and not parade around the Church with IT. Yes, things are becoming worse each day.

Bishop Bernard Fellay has warned members of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX) that they could face excommunication after the episcopal consecrations planned for July 1.
