Nicaragua’s regime has banned the ordination of priests and deacons in four dioceses - Jinotega, Siuna, Matagalpa, and Estelí - where bishops remain in exile. The measure is attributed to President Daniel Ortega and his wife Rosario Murillo. The latter is referred to as “the witch” because of her esoteric and shamanic imagery, and rituals influenced by the New Age movement. According to priests in exile, the ban is enforced through police surveillance. Outside bishops are blocked from entering dioceses to ordain clergy. At least 32 priests from Matagalpa are in exile and the diocese operates with about 30% of its clergy. Estelí and Jinotega have lost up to half of their pastoral capacity. Seminarians who have completed their training remain unable to be ordained. Ordinations continue in dioceses where bishops remain in the country, including Managua, León, Granada, Juigalpa, and Bluefields. Despite the restrictions, vocations to the priesthood continue, and some ordinations have …ఇంకా

Vatican Prosecutor Challenges Appeal Court Order in Becciu Case: An institutional clash is unfolding inside the Vatican over the London property trial involving Cardinal Angelo Becciu. The Court of Appeal annulled part of the first trial, citing serious procedural flaws, and ordered a retrial along with full disclosure of previously withheld evidence. The Vatican prosecutor has now moved to challenge that ruling, raising the possibility that key documents - including controversial redacted chats - may never be fully released.

The soul weeps, the body weeps, how much strength is left in me? How much time for redemption? The weight of sins crushes, the lack of humility kills. In the shadow of trees, I’ll sit in silence, fade into oblivion. Such is my fate, my destiny. I won’t rise like a phoenix from ashes. I am but wretched dust— nothing will remain of me. You gave me wings—but I cut them off, You gave me life—but I wasted it. Tell me, please, what is left for me? How much sorrow and suffering? Or perhaps joy in rebirth? I perish each day. But do I rise anew? In the shadow of a tree, I’ll sit in silence, no one will weep if I never return.
Michael Knowles: America’s Founding Mirrors Catholic Political Philosophy: The conservative commentator argues that the U.S. Constitution reflects St. Thomas Aquinas’ ‘mixed regime’ and a broader natural law tradition, despite the founders’ Protestant roots.
Hegseth Invokes Divine Purpose to Justify Military Might Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has imbued U.S. military actions with a Christian moral underpinning that suggests they are divinely sanctioned. nytimes.com/…/20/us/politics/hegseth- …He spoke of “overwhelming force” and the U.S. military’s unmatched ability to rain “death and destruction from above” on its “apocalyptic” Iranian foes. Then, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, standing in the Pentagon, issued a call to the American people for a specific kind of wartime prayer. He asked them to pray for victory in battle and the safety of their troops. “Every day, on bended knee, with your family, in your schools, in your churches,” he said, “in the name of Jesus Christ.” At a time when the U.S. and Israeli militaries are dropping thousands of bombs on a majority-Shiite Muslim nation, the explicitly Christian nature of Mr. Hegseth’s call stood out. More than any top American military leader in recent history, Mr. Hegseth has framed …ఇంకా
Instaurare Omnia in Christo Cardinal McElroy said in an interview. “I see a moral imperative to end this war, to have a cease-fire.” That sentiment is shared byPope Leo XIV, who also called for an end to the fighting in Iran. “Violence can never lead to the justice, the stability and the peace that peoples are awaiting,” he said.
21.03.2026 PENDING CANONICAL ISSUES : SSPX , UNA VOCE, ABP. VIGANO, CARDINALS ROCHE, CUPICH ETC 1.UNA VOCE The Una Voce President Joseph Shaw interprets Vatican Council II irrationally like Cardinal Vincent Nichols and the British bishops. He attends the Latin Mass while interpreting the Creeds, Councils and Catechisms, non traditionally. He does not comment or correct the objective mistake in the 1949 Letter of the Holy Office to the Archbishop of Boston. So on the issue of the Latin Mass being restricted (Charlotte, Fisher-More College, Detroit etc) he does not canonically appeal to the concerned bishop. He does not ask the bishop to interpret Vatican Council II rationally in harmony with the traditional exclusivist ecclesiology of the Roman Missal at the Latin Mass. Cardinal Vincent Nichols interpreted Magisterial Documents with the implicit-explicit confusion and then offered Holy Mass in English. The English bishops would do the same at the Latin Mass in England. 2. SOCIETY OF ST.…ఇంకా

Plato once said: “Choose a partner who is better than you. You don’t need someone who simply accepts you as you are—you need someone who challenges you, who inspires you to grow every single day.” Real love isn’t just about unconditional acceptance. It’s built on mutual admiration—that quiet, powerful force that pushes both people to become more than they were before. The person you choose to share your life with should reflect qualities you don’t yet fully have—not to highlight your flaws, but to help you rise beyond them. In that kind of relationship, every challenge becomes an opportunity to grow. Difficult moments don’t break the bond—they strengthen it. Two people who are committed to helping each other evolve don’t fear hard times—they see them as lessons. That’s why the right person for you isn’t just someone who accepts you…but someone whose presence, whose love, brings out the best version of who you can become.

The Miraculous Staircase at Loretto Chapel | A Miracle of Saint Joseph? Let's Take a Deeper Look Have you heard about the mysterious staircase at the Loretto Chapel? Known as the “Miraculous Staircase,” this spiral staircase has puzzled builders and visitors for over a century. According to tradition, the Sisters of Loretto prayed a novena to Saint Joseph, asking for help to build a staircase in their chapel. Soon after, a mysterious carpenter appeared, built the staircase, and disappeared without payment. What makes the staircase so mysterious? It has no visible central support It was built without nails (using wooden pegs) The identity of the builder remains unknown Many believe this was a miracle through the intercession of Saint Joseph, the humble carpenter and protector. While some explanations have been proposed, the story continues to inspire faith in God’s providence — especially in moments when solutions seem impossible. Saint Joseph, pray for us. The way you look at your parents today is exactly how your children will look at you tomorrow. Life doesn’t "punish" us—it simply reflects back what we’ve put into it. Often, the heaviest burden we carry is the harvest of the seeds we sowed without even realizing it. If your parents feel like a chore right now—if their voices irritate you, if their slow pace makes you impatient—stop. Because there are little eyes watching you every single day. They are learning, not from your lectures, but from your actions. They are watching how you treat the people who gave you life. Children don't care about your "talks"; they care about your examples. If your parents are always a "maybe later," if you pick up their calls with a sigh, if you only visit when you have nothing better to do—don't be shocked when your kids do the exact same to you in twenty years. You are defining their "normal" right now. Our parents, with their wrinkles, their quietness, and their exhaustion, were once the only …ఇంకా
