The Vatican press office has confirmed that Pope Leo XIV moved into the papal apartment in the Apostolic Palace on Saturday with several of his closest collaborators. The Vatican announced the move but did not release photographs of the residence. The apartment had been renovated in recent months after remaining unused for years. Media reports say the private quarters is located in an attic-level section of the residence, and that a fitness room has been installed. Since his election ten months ago, Leo XIV had been living in the Palazzo del Santo Uffizio in the Vatican, where he had previously resided as Prefect of the Dicastery for Bishops. #newsQdpcdyphpn
Carrie Prejen Boller was not only thrown off the panel, but trump ignored and refused her emails, calls and texts. And still nothing from him. Can someone remind me and tell me how he is more Catholic than Catholics? He puts on a show to keep his so called Catholic base as his supporters. Throws them a bone and they absolutely lose it praising him to the highest mountain top. But most good Catholics gave up on him a long time ago. And others slowly but surely are on their way.
After just declaring bankruptcy due to sexual abuse claims, Bishop Seitz returns to his campaign of supporting illegal immigration. El Paso Catholic Bishop Mark Seitz says the “current campaign of mass detention and deportations is a grave moral evil, one which must be opposed, with prayer, peaceful action and acts of solidarity.” Seitz issued a pastoral letter on mass detentions and mass deportations after Mass on Sunday, March 12. The diocese says it is the first pastoral letter released by a Catholic bishop on this subject. “Our Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV, told me personally to stand in solidarity with suffering migrant families and not to remain silent,” Seitz wrote. “I will do everything I can to uphold the God-given dignity of every person in our borderlands community.” Seitz said that the El Paso Catholic Church “will redouble our ministries with those in the downtown courthouse, in the detention centers, in Ciudad Juarez and with families in our parishes.” “We will continue …
Fr. Alfonso Avilés, who has passed away after saving the life of an altar boy, was drowning in the sea, Ecuador. He was as a defender of the Catholic Tradition, who lived his life in generous service to God and to souls. His final act reflects the charity he preached. He also regularly celebrated TLM. Requiescat in pace.
The Church in Ecuador is mourning the tragic loss of two priests who died after rescuing a young altar server from drowning in the sea. The incident occurred on 13 March at the beach of General Villamil Playas, in the province of Guayas. A group of priests and altar servers had gathered there for a retreat when one of the young boys began to struggle in the water after being caught by strong waves. Father Alfonso Avilés Pérez, parish priest of San Alberto Magno in Daule, immediately entered the sea to help the boy. Father Pedro Anzoátegui also rushed into the water to assist in the rescue. Thanks to their efforts, the altar server was saved. However, the powerful current carried both priests away from the shore. Father Alfonso Avilés died shortly after the incident, while Father Pedro Anzoátegui was initially reported missing. His body was recovered the following day. #newsUsuqmbjccm
Very sad, and God bless the priests. BUT will the Church now want to canonize them? Not an idle question. A fine young lad tried to stop a school shooter in Colorado a few years ago and was killed -- now there is a movement to canonize him. A father in Virginia successfully saved the life of his Down Syndrome son but died in the process. His canonization has been suggested. All involved may be wonderful people and certainly acted heroically, but what exactly is a saint in the new Church?
Iran's hypersonic missile struck the Mossad headquarters in the center of Tel Aviv. (Added one more video) The invasion of Iran would be catastrophic and far worse than the US war in Iraq, according to Pakistan's former Minister of Information, Mushahid Hussain Sayed. Sayed said Israel has forced the US's hand in this war, claiming that they have used blackmail to push this administration into sabotaging talks and driving the Iran war. War on Iran: US evangelicals, Israeli Zionists cite holy war | UpFront The United States and Israel have often portrayed themselves as secular democracies fighting against a theocratic Islamic regime in Iran. But as the war against Iran continues to escalate, US leaders have spoken of a biblical duty to defend Israel, military commanders have referenced divine destiny, and Israeli leaders continue to cite biblical claims to territory. So why is this religious rhetoric resurfacing now? This week on UpFront, Redi Tlhabi speaks with author and Professor of American Studies and International Affairs at George Washington University Melani McAlister, and rabbi and Professor of Modern Jewish Studies at Harvard Divinity School Shaul Magid on what happens when faith, nationalism and politics collide on the global stage.
Pope Leosuggested on Friday that Christian political leaders who start wars should go to confession and assess whether they are following the teachings of Jesus, without naming any specific leaders or conflicts.
reuters.com/…ns-who-start-wars-should-go- … "Do those Christians who bear grave responsibility in armed conflicts have the humility and courage to make a serious examination of conscience and to go to confession?" the pope asked in a speech to priests. While Leo did not name anyone on Friday, in recent days he has been ramping up calls for an end to the ongoing Iran war, which began with joint U.S.-Israeli airstrikes on February 28.

Check out how are we have got with Fr Coleridge’s The Life of our Life series. Rejoice! We’re over halfway through Lent – and the Church presents us with this Gospel miracle of plenty in the multiplication of loaves. The Gospel of the Fourth Sunday of Lent (Laetare Sunday) recounts Our Lord’s multiplication of loaves to feed the five thousand. It takes place shortly after the death of St John the Baptist, and during the Galilean ministry, when the Apostles return from their first mission and Herod’s hostility towards Christ becomes more open. Christ draws the Apostles into solitude after their labours, and then, with deliberate forethought, multiplies loaves to prefigure the Holy Eucharist. The miracle establishes the role of the Apostles in distributing divine nourishment, reveals Christ’s hidden …
The German sophist Jürgen Habermas died on Saturday in Starnberg, Germany, at the age of 96. The German bishops have expressed their "deep condolences". Habermas was associated with the second generation of the 'Frankfurt School', which was founded in the 1920s and was heavily influenced by Karl Marx — who, coincidentally, also died on 14 March (1883). Habermas enjoyed a long and applauded career in post-war Europe. For decades, he was presented as one of the foremost proponents of the secular philosophy that came to dominate Western universities. According to Habermas's framework, moral questions such as abortion, sexuality and family values are allegedly no longer grounded in objective truth or natural law, but rather can be destructed through public 'democratic' processes. He was a typical salon leftist: a master of verbose pseudo-science who hid thin ideas behind jargon. One could call him a self-promoter or a well-paid left-wing windbag. Here is a famous quote that - typical of …níos mó
Sounds like someone whose interest in truth was overshadowed by his interest in himself....the mind is its own reality, according to Satan...So, the German bishops who have accepted modernity in all its mixed up forms lest they appear to endorse nazism...heaven forbid, must display deep sadness at the passing of someone so mixed up himself.
“There has never been a time in human history that we look back and say that the people who were censoring speech were the good guys.” “They’re always the BAD guys.” “A government that has the capacity to silence its opponents has the power to commit any kind of atrocity.” “Louis Brandeis, who was a justice [of the] Supreme Court, said that the remedy for bad speech is not censorship. The remedy for bad speech is MORE speech.” “That is always the remedy. It’s never shutting people up.”

philosopher There will be much more articles coming in the near future (they are partly on paper and in my mind). There will be no doubt that the theory is correct. However, the experimental verification will be necessary, as usual in such cases. I am not worry about the experiments too much, if at all. Thank you so much for your comments and input! God Bless You!
@In Principio You're welcome, thanks for posting it! So intriguing and It would only be logical that the created order of being reflects the Triune-Creator! God bless!
Prayer before a Crucifix Behold, Oh kind & most sweet Jesus, I cast myself on my knees in your sight, and with the most fervent desire of my soul, I pray & beseech you that you would impress upon my heart lively sentiments of faith, hope, & charity, with a true repentance for my sins, and a firm desire of amendment, while with deep affection & grief of soul I ponder within myself and mentally contemplate your five most precious wounds; having before my eyes that which David spoke in prophecy of you, Oh good Jesus: "They pierced my hands and my feet; they have numbered all my bones,". • He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that, free from sins, we might live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed. Pope Leo XIV’s first encyclical is apparently nearing completion and could be published after Easter. The document – reportedly titled Magnifica Humanitas ('Magnificent Humanity') - will address the ethical risks of artificial intelligence, particularly its impact on jobs and interpersonal relationships.
Die Veröffentlichung der Enzyklika wird nach Ostern erwartet.
What the church today really needs is another encyclical. Right? I think it would much better if Pope Leo XIV began to retract a number of them from the last pontificate. We can give him a list if he wants.
